Today April 22, is Earth Day. Stay Healthy, Stay Wise

Earth day

Today April 22, is Earth Day. it an annual event which worldwide event are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. On Earth Day 2016, the landmark Paris Agreement is scheduled to be signed by the United States, China, and some 120 other countries

There are many reasons to celebrate Earth Day and keep the Earth clean and safe.

Although we have been hearing of Climate change, global warming and other forms of problems associated with the future of the earth here are some reasons for you to know that the Earth seemingly has a bright future.

Solar Energy Has Gotten Cheaper

Solar Energy is probably the new form of energy right now, as it is 100% clean and does not have any environmental hazards, but Solar energy doesn't come cheap, meaning we had to continue using the dirty and hazardous sources of energy.
But goodnews according to a report from the U.S Department of Energy is that Solar power prices fell from $6.3 per 3watt of solar in 2007 to 2009 period to $3.1 in 2014. By 2050, the sun would be the largest source of electricity in the world," the International Energy Agency says.

195 Countries have agreed to fight all forms of Pollution

Pollution is a haunting problem in the Earth today, land, water, air and noise pollution, Goodnews is that well all countries in the world have agreed to fight pollution. This is a major step as the union will lead to the easy tackling of the problem.

Use of Electric Motors

Thanks to a great mind and inventor Elon Musk, The world will soon say bye-bye to Gas and Diesel Cars, which mount up to 15% of world pollution leading to Global Warming.
As his Invention of Electric Cars will lead to a cut in air pollution by those vehicles.

China is Repenting

China is the world's biggest annual polluter of the atmosphere, but it's also home to the world's largest clean-energy market.  Well, China's not doing anything about its pollution. Not only is China pledging to sign and ratify the Paris Agreement, it is experimenting with carbon-pricing systems to reduce pollution and plans a national carbon market that it says will be in place next year. And a five-year plan announced earlier this year says China will do more to cut its pollution than previously thought.
"With China's new target for an 18% reduction in carbon-intensity from 2015 levels, we estimate that China will actually reduce its carbon intensity 48% from 2005 levels by 2020," the World Resources Institute says "exceeding its original target of a 40% to 45% reduction by that year. It will also be a first step toward achieving its Paris Agreement pledge to reduce carbon intensity 60% to 65% by 2030."
