4 things to definitely aviod before crashing into bed

Woof after a hard days work, we all deserve a good night rest and sleep. But there are things you can do, maybe intentional or not that will deprive you of that good night sleep.

This article discusses the 4 things we do that should be avoided before that all night slumber

1. Exercise

Exercise is vital for so many things, with so many benefits, we want to keep ourselves healthy and fit. Exercising can definitely contribute to high quality of sleep. The downside is that carrying out this activity within three hours before bedtime can raise your body temperature, and reduces the chances of you dozing off. Better you keep that body builder in time for day and not let it disturb your nights rest.

2. Drinking Too Much Fluids Before Bedtime

While a drink before bed will  help you fall asleep, it also greatly reduces the quality of the sleep that you are supposed to have, and will likely lead to those dreaded night bathroom breaks which will interrupt your slumber and also for the little kids it also leads to bed-wetting. But, However that does not mean you should go to bed thirsty, because sure you will wake up in the middle of your sleep to get a drink.

3. Work (Office Work, Home-work  e.t.c)

Whatever it is, whether its work or school issue it is, it surely wait. Cracking your brain to get work done just before going to bed stimulates your brain and causes unnecessary stress. This can actually reduce the quality of your sleep which you need after a hard days work.

4. Arguments

Most of us have probably heard of this phrase, “don’t go to bed angry.” Well  it’s definitely true! Research has shown that going to bed and to sleep directly after a quarrel, argument or bad experience will actually preserve those emotions until you awake. The human body is  unpropitious to falling asleep in seemingly  situations that posses danger — it’s  a natural defense mechanism. Thus, leading to a hard time falling asleep after that bad experience or big argument. Its definitely better to resolve that issue before you crash into bed.
